1968 Ford Mustang Coupe with factory A/C and power steering. All Original This Gorgeous pony was built in San Jose CA. It was sold and driven in Palm Springs until it was brought to AZ in 1978 where it has spent its life. This car is all original. I am the 2nd owner and I have strived to make the driving experience of this car the same as when it was driven off of the dealership lot 40 years ago. It has 140,000 original miles Working, cold Factory A/C!! Engine 289 c.i. @ 195 h.p. w/8.7:1 compression with two barrel carburetor Engine and carburetor rebuilt to original specs at 100,000 miles Charging All charging components were replaced at 125,000 miles needed or not; battery, alternator, starter, regulator, solenoid. Fuel New fuel system installed per original specs: new OEM gas tank, gas lines and fuel sending unit. Transmission: C-4 automatic rebuilt at 100,000 miles Suspension Front End All Brand new in 2009: Uppers/Lowers/Spindles Springs 1” sway Steering All Brand new in 2009: New control valve New tie rods and connectors New fluid lines New rag joint Brakes: The drum brakes were completely rebuilt at 125,000 miles with all new parts. Interior: In 2006 the entire interior was removed and replaced including the front and rear window seals. This interior restoration included the heater plenum as well as all of the gauges and lights which operate as they should. Original 68 Console!! I have many items that came with the car originally such as the warranty identification card, the warranty guide, the original owner’s manual and the tire maintenance recommendations guide.
