Vehicle Detail
1969 Triumph TR6R Bobber- Hand-Built from the frame up. One of the coolest Triumph hardtail bobbers hands down! This Triumph placed 3rd in the British class at the famous David Mann Chopper Festival in Ventura CA on it's first outing at a show! Not to mention it's not a chopper!! Bike has been featured on several motorcycle and chopper websites including: ChopCult.com, BikeEXIF.com, WantMoto.com, HerMajestysThunder.com, CycleGrrr.com, Cool-BikeWorld.com, Gilamotor.com, and MattDesmond.com. Please feel free to do an internet search for "Bad News Triumph" to view all the different articles and pictures. These are not just American sites, the bike has seen plenty of play throughout the world! Bike is mechanically sound and no expense has been spared in it's preparation. Original parts have been used extensively in order to maintain the history and character of the bike. At the same time, there are plenty of hand fabricated "goodie" parts as well (i.e. fender struts, battery box, headlight mount, pipes) Pains have been taken to represent the motorcycle in a period correct manner. I tried to envision a late 60's flat tracker in the design process. Where parts needed to be replaced, such as engine internals, they were.
