If you are looking for a Good work vehicle, you are looking at it. This has been my work truck and has been trouble free. Unfortunantly my work has basically stopped (retiring) and moving to Florida and simple do not need the Explorer. This SUV runs great with no problems with the motor, transmission or drive train. Yes it is manual and shifts with ease. This is not a new truck and there are some things that do not work which you should know before you bid..The passanger side window needs some work and I think it just needs reattaching to the motor but it does not go down even though you can hear the motor running. The gas gauge does not work but I know that it gets about 19 miles to the gallon so I simple reset the trip odometer each time I put gas in and know that I should put gas in again before it reaches about 250 miles. The air conditioner was working before summer but needs a charge. There are a few rust areas that could use some attention but really not bad. The enterior is in very good condition especially for a car that is 17 years young. I just returned from a trip to Memphis Tenn. driving 70 and 75 all the way and had no issues at all. The tires are good and 75% tread remains. I have sold several vehicles on ebay and always try to be as honest as possible with my descriptions. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
