I am selling my 1968 Firebird 400 car. Its in my name and titled in Florida. Its has 106976 orginal miles best to my knowledge.The orginal color is Solar red,with a black vinyl top.Car has power windows very rare, that work, plus power brakes, power steering , and A/C BUT NO COMPRESSOR .The car has in it now a 1973 455cu with electronic ignition , Edelbrock Aluminum Performer intake with a 600CFM Holley carb with electric chock , motor has about 20,000 miles on it since last built.Motor runs great , leaks no oil or burns it either. Has new plugs, cap, rotor and wires. The car has a one year old 2.5'' aluminum duel exhaust with turbo mufflers and tips out to the back, car idles smooth and sounds great.Stock gears in the rear, and has a 2spd power glide that was added, shift very smooth. As you can see from the pics and video everything underhood looks in great shape and looks fairly new. Now under the car, it has new floor pans put in it, rails are very clean , trunk is in great shape no rust. Has air shocks in the rear that work. Front end on car seems fine with no problems. Car dont pull when you hit brakes, now getting to the brakes , all new pads and a new master cylinder on car.Tires and rims are brand new,20 miles on tires , tires are NEW BFGOODRICH Radial T/A P235/60 R15 around car. All lights work on car , turn signals, brake, reverse, interior , head lights. Wipers work , but the washer does not. also could use new blade inserts. Interior of the car is orginal from 1968, the only things that was replace was the headliner, carpet, steering wheel, and dome light. For a 42 year old interior it is in very good conditon. The car has power windows very rare. There is not one firebird on or has been on ebay that has power windows from the factory. They all work , go up and down fine.only the back passenger window dont go back up from the drivers side control only from its own switch. Heater works fine , car has factory a/c but there is no compressor under the hood, has everything else. The body of the car has a great base coat , clear coat paint job.paint is a 9 out of 10. There is no rust or rot anywhere on this car that I can see. Paint has a very deep gloss to it , plenty of clear is on the car.I also have some touch up for the car, and the color if you want to mix more. All body lines on car line up good, all doors, trunk ,and hood shut good. The chrome on the car is starting to show some age to it. 8 out of 10 for the chrome What I would replace if I was keeping car, is a set of door rubber seals and upper window seals that look cracked and old, also it could use new window felts on the outside, new wiper blade inserts I have video clips of the car and more pics if you want more.
