This beautiful Mustang can go to shows just as easily as it can be driven every day. It is great fun to drive. This dual branded Roush - Boyd Coddington pony gets plenty of attention whether you are out for a drive or sitting in your driveway! It is a head turner! This Roush Coddington Mustang is production # 4 of 48 produced. Production was set for 75 on this model but for reasons known only to the performance team, production stopped at number 48. Interestingly, the billet aluminum ID plate was stolen from the cars interior during display at one of many car shows attended by the original owner. We have taken an interest in this and talked directly to Roush performance, verified this is number 4 of 48 made, they suggested a replacement plate could easily be made by a trophy shop in your local area. Roush will quickly verify for you if you supply the VIN that this is indeed number four produced by Roush of this limited production Mustang. From what we found in our research, the background on this Mustangs original concept was to take a complete Stage 3 Mustang and blend it with Boyd Coddington and Jack Roushs classic exterior styling. It was originally intended as a West Coast car, but it was so well received that it went into limited but larger production. This Roush Mustang built by Boyd Coddington is not a Stage 3 under the hood. You could add any modifications you wanted and make it all of what you want it to be. It's a Roush. We are not the experts, so bidders must be. To see this Roush is tell you the photos do not do it justice. Please review the 100+ photos, videos and description thoroughly, and if you have any questions, please let us know. This 2003 Ford Roush Mustang is powered by the stock 4.6 V8 Modular engine. The engine has had regular servicing and has had no problems. It really runs great! Looking under the hood of this Mustang you will see wall to wall muscle! You can see by browsing the photos and videos, this Mustang has been taken exceptional care of ... This 2003 Ford Roush Boyd Coddington Mustang Convertible Roadster has: Stock 18 x 9 inch five spoke wheels on the front and 18 x 10 wheels adorn the back for superior handling. Kumho tires were the owners choice and are on this Mustang presently. The suspension is standard Stage 3. Bilstein monotube shocks and struts are customvalved to Roush specifications. The factory front sway bar was replaced with a 35mm unit as to alleviate body roll. The stock springs lower the Mustang 1.5 in the front and 1 in the back. The Brake calipers have been very recently replaced. A set of whitefaced gauges is the stock instrument cluster. Boyd Coddington has signed each gauge package. The interior is custom stitched with the Boyd Coddington logo. At 36,764 low mileage the interior is just broken in. The leather seats have a glovelike softness to them and are in great shape. The rear seat back center black seat insert, appears due to being pushed from the inside of the trunk area, has been pushed out of place possibly from speaker installation, has what appears to be a deformation under the leather in the center insert strip. This has occurred only in the center strip and should be an easy fix for any experienced upholsterer. This is a southern car, purchased originally in Georgia. That being said we want you to know the air conditioning has been recently serviced and is ice cold! The driver and passenger visors have lighted vanity mirrors. There are 3 small holes in the drivers side sun visor, please note in photos. All controls are at your finger tips including cruise control, tilt steering wheel, power windows and door locks and traction control. The owner we are assisting has kept this Mustang papmered and sheltered as a true dual branded Roush - Boyd Coddington Mustang GT collectable. The exterior paint scheme on this car is DuPont Boyd Red on top of factory Ford black paint. There are two very minor blemishes as you will note in the photos. This car has been garage kept, as you would expect, and still sports a beautiful luster. The black convertible top is in excellent condition and working order. However we do not have the original tonneau cover. This California Roadster in this red and black is indeed a head turner from its sleek sporty look to the sound of its dual magnaflow exhaust. If you are looking for a collectors Mustang - dont miss this rare one! The only modifications to this vehicle that we know of has been the stereo. The original Ford sound system was replaced with a Pioneer CD player/AM/FM stereo and extra tweeters added on the door and an Extreme 900 Earthquake Bass Booster. This was a professional installation. This Mustang has had one very small body repair from a rear impact to the drivers side lower rear quarter. The new project would be a joint effort between Roush Performance and legendary hot rod builder Boyd Coddington. Their Mustang creation would be elegant with its Coddington influence and an outstanding performer from Roush's extensive racing experience.
