1971 340 4 speed duster re-creation. This car started out as a 225 3 on the floor GY3 Curios Yellow duster. It was ground up restored in 09. Every nut bolt and part was replaced or restored! It now has a 69 340 with a 71 833 o.d. and a 3.91 8 3/4 sure grip. ENGINE: Machine shop balanced 69 340 standard bore, TRW forged pistons, stock 69 forged crank with federal Mog. .20 mains and .20 rods. Cam is a Mopar Performance purple hyd. 284\284 528\528. Melling high volume oil pump, double roller timing set, fluid dampner. The heads are cast J's with 2.02 intake and 1.91 exh. stainless valves and hardend seats, new guides and valve seals. heads were also ported and gasket matched and topped off with proform roller rockers, mopar performance rocker shaves, and crane pushrods. Fel Pro gaskets were used throughout. has a Edelbrock air gap intake with 1406 carb topped off with a K&N extreme air filter, mopar performance valve covers, Mallory uni-lite distributor, New napa water pump, flex lite fan, napa belts and hoses, napa 1 wire g.m. alternator. all brackets and pulleys were powder coated! EXHAUST: summit headers with Pypes stainless 2 1/2 kit and year one stainless tips. TRANS:New sash clutch kit and re surfaced stock flywheel. Completely rebuilt cast iron long shaft New Process 833 O.D. with .75 final drive. 2500 rpm is 75 m.p.h. and gets 14 m.p.g.! new six states custom length driveline. REAR DIFF: 8 3/4 sure grip possi (rebuildable clutch type) with new Yukon h.d. axles and green bearings. WHEELS AND SUSPENTION: wheels are 15' tork thrust 2's 5 on 4.5 all arround with willwood 4 wheel disk breaks! complete energy suspention all around, with just suspention's complete front end kit (ball joints,tie rods,idler,) and 1" pro touring torsion bars. BODY: super nice with 4 coats of PPG Concept Curios Yellow 2 with color and 2 coats mixed haf color and half Concept 2002 clear with DX61 hardner. then color sanded and buffed to show shine. all decals are 3M year one, the wing is a tear one chrysler abs kit all correct. custom 69 barracuda flip top gas cap, new PPG front tinted windsheild with new front and rear gaskets and lock bead. the scoop is chrysler o.e.m. 5% tint on rear and qtr. glass, oem restored sharkstooth grill and lenses, no breaks! bumpers are o.e.m. re chromed. underside of car was stripped, and por-15 then undercoated. trunk floor and lower qtrs. were replaced, old were rusted.all stainless trim was 2000 sanded and the buffed to super shine INTERIOR: Mopar performance custom fit pistol grip shifter! complete Legendary interior kit (seat covers, door panels, head liner, carpet). Custom dash bezel with Auto Meter guages. dash cap, kenwood cd deck with amp and 200w bazooka sub. custom built all new wire harness, new switches and fuse box. you name it its new! Gabrial skyjacker rear air shocks, and napa front shocks. The head lights are aftermarket tri-bars with glass lenses and removable bulbs. New year one side marker lenses too. The hood scoop is functional as well. Also has a Hurst line lock installed, new washer tank and electric pump, Mopar performance big bore master cylinder, Mallory plugs and wires. The tires are Grand Am 235/50/15 front, and 255/60/15 rear and have about 95% tread. This is a turn key car and ready to drive! Runs great with no issues.
