The following is a very detailed description of the car, along with over one hundred high resolution photos and links to two videos. Please contact us if you have any questions. Body, Paint and Trim The body is in excellent condition with no history of accidents. All areas of the body are rust free. All the panel gaps are excellent and the body is entirely free of dents or door dings. A high quality professional repaint was completed on 5/6/10 in the original Black color. The windshield and all body trim was removed, during the repaint. The paint is free of scratches or chips and the shine is amazing. Any worn trim or rubber was replaced, during the repaint. All original trim parts remain in very good condition. The windshield was replaced and a new windshield weatherstrip was installed during the repaint. Front and rear turn signal lenses are in very good condition with no cracks. The top is was replaced on 3/12/03 and remains in very good condition with no rips or visible wear. The rear plastic window is clear. Interior The Silver Grey leather interior is entirely original and remains in good condition overall. The dash, door panels, rear side panels, front and rear seats, sun visors and carpet are all very good. A new dash was recently installed. The only noticeable interior flaws are some visible wear on the driver's seat side bolster and headrest seams, the separation of one stitched seam on the passenger seat bottom and the leather on the shift knob is worn. The gauges, switches and knobs on the face of the dash are all present. The leather covered steering wheel is in very good condition and feels great. Electricals Headlights (low and high beams), tail lights, brake lights, turn signals, license plate lights, horn, power windows, power top, 8 way dual power seats, power mirrors and windshield wipers are functional. The air conditioning system is functional, but needs a recharge. The drive belt for the a/c compressor will be reinstalled. The starter and alternator are functioning fine. The starter was replaced at 75,003 miles. All gauges are functional. The odometer is functional and currently reads 80,721 original miles. An excellent Alpine high powered stereo system is installed and includes a separate CD changer and auxiliary jacks for iPod or iPhone. Engine and Transmission The engine is the original 3.3 liter, factory rated at 300HP. This 930 has received several desirable and expensive (over $20,000 spent) engine upgrades boosting it's rated horsepower to an estimated 400HP. This makes for one very enjoyable ride! The following is a partial list of the engine upgrades and repairs that have been completed over the years: 6/16/93 - @ 15,740 miles. Performance valve job completed, including guides (tapered high flow) and heads surfaced. Convert heads for twin plug set up and port. Port match intake manifold and injector spacer blocks. Install 964 cams. Upgrade to K27-7006 turbocharger and Garretson intercooler. Install GHL exhaust. 4/29/99 - @ 56,522 miles. Disassembled top end of engine. Glass bead and machine heads. Replaced all 12 valve guides and 6 exhaust valves. Replaced 6 manifold stacks. 12/9/09 - Smog test completed successfully. Changes engine oil. Lubed clutch linkgage and adjusted clutch. Adjusted throttle linkage for full throttle. Replaced turbo intake seals. 5/20/10 - @ 80,638 miles. Spark plugs replaced, cleaned distributor rotor and contacts, replaced all ignition wires, checked oxygen sensor function and adjusted fuel distributor, adjusted exhaust valves. The engine starts easily and once running it idles and accelerates smoothly with exhilerating power. There is no smoking on startup or during hard acceleration. The original 4 speed transmission shifts smoothly with absolutely no grinding in any gear. Suspension, Wheels, Tires and Brakes The suspension is in very good condition. The steering is excellent and provides the driver with just the right amount of feedback. The ride is amazingly comfortable, yet firm at the same time. A four wheel alignment was completed at 76,939 miles. Expensive DP Motorsport forged alloy 17" sized wheels are installed and are in good condition. 10" width at the rear wheels for excellent grip. 235/45ZR-17 sized Yokohama AVS Sport tires are installed on the front wheels and 315/35ZR-17 sized Yokohama AVS Sport tires on the rear wheels. The power disc brakes are in excellent condition and the emergency brake is correctly adjusted and holds tight. Brake fluid was flushed on 12/9/09.
