1972 Datsun 240z!- blueprinted engine-original wheels and NEW driver's side front body panel!-new-ish radiator! You are bidding on a 1972 Datsun 240z with a 6 cyl., blueprinted engine and manual transmission. The fact that the engine has been blueprinted means that the engine was taken apart down to the nuts a bolts and every surface and component was restored to factory spec. IT IS A NUMBERS MATCHING VEHICLE. You will see some surface corrosion on some components of the engine but it does not affect the operation of the vehicle. This is a great candidate for restoration (or dare I say parts) as it has a very, very sound drivetrain for its age. The interior is rough and the dash is cracking but the door panels are in very good condition as are the gauges. The front end needs bodywork. Buyer is responsible for pick up in Napa, CA. This car runs and drives but it has a slow leak in the two front tires and it has not been serviced in a while so I personally would recommend trailering it home. New owner can feel free to test drive it but the registration has expired. Offered at a very fair price.
