Up for auction is this nice 1970 Cadillac Coupe de Ville. I have owned this vehicle for about 4 years, but a recent move to a new house with a much smaller garage, and a car collection that has gotten out of hand means she must go to a new home. The car is in pretty good condition overall. The interior is in good shape, there is a crack in the drivers side arm rest on the door as shown in pics, and a worn through spot on the drivers seat as shown in pics. Dashboard is in excellent condition, carpet is good with the exception of a few small coffee looking stains. Gold brocade upholstery is readily available, so fixing the seat shouldn't be too big of a deal. Body wise, the car is super straight. A few rust bubbles in each of the front fenders as shown in pics. Floorboards are rock solid. A few small pits in rear left bumper as shown in pics. I believe the car was repainted some time ago, and it wasn't a perfect job. There are a few other bubbles like the little ones shown under the key lock cover in the pics. The worst of it is the paint. The hood, tops of the doors, and the tops of the fenders have taken their toll from the sun. With a little body work to the front fenders and some paint, this car would be stunning. Not sure if the mileage is 40k or 140k. The guy I bought it from said it was original low mileage, but with no documentation to prove it, who knows. Runs and drives great. Newer (two years old) low end tires with lots of tread left. Suspension has been gone through (two years ago) including: New springs all the way around, New shocks (n.o.s. oil charged in front) Upper and lower ball joints replaced Inner and outer tie rod ends replaced All new bushings in front New idler arm New center link Air conditioning rebuilt including: Rebuilt compressor New lines Recharched (still on old freon) Blows cold. Custom dual exhaust with turbo mufflers (not too loud) about two years old. Cruise works Power seats work Power windows work Radio does not work Clock does not work Top end of carburetor "rebuilt" I paid $5,000.00 for it, put over $2,000.00 into it.
