Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a nice 2000 Jaguar S-Type V8, which just turned 100,000 miles. This car will go to the highest bidder. The car is in good shape for being 10 years old, and the British Racing Green paint still looks mighty fine. This car will sell to the highest bidder. I have had the car about 6 years. I have made trips half way across the country with this car, and would not hesitate to jump in it and do it now. It is a respectable looker, and it has a lot of life left in it. Look at the pictures- this is a nice car. But remember, it is a 10 year-old car. There are some scrapes and dings and minor imperfections. This car was garage kept for as long as I have owned the vehicle. In addition to the options listed above, this jag has the 6 cd changer, heated seats, sport mode for transmission, radio controls in the steering wheel, traction control release, and auto dimming rear view mirror. The good: 6,000 miles ago, over $1,300.00 was spent to deal with a miss in the engine, an oil leak, and brakes and rotors. See the picture of the bill for more details. About 2,000 miles ago, I had the shocks, struts and front suspension replaced to chase a rattle that I heard when going over a bounce or pothole. That bill was over $2,000.00 for that maintenance. Be rest assured that no expense was spared for this car. It was my toy, and it was pampered and used for some nice highway driving. The car may have a few more miles on it due to test drives. But I am not currently using the car. I found a car that I once had as a teenager last week, and it is taking the garage space of this one. I have no more storage space left. That is the reason why I am selling this car. The not so good: The sunroof does not function properly. It is currently closed, but if you wanted it to operate properly you would need to get a new track system installed. It was this way when I purchased it, but never thought it was a big enough deal to get it fixed. There is some road rash on the nose from highway driving. It was that way when I bought it, but never got around to getting it painted. There are also the normal dings, scratches, and dents that you get when the car is exposed to the public. And unfortunately there is a scratch on the passenger side front door. The last time I got it serviced, the car was placed outside of the garage when it was finished. Some "nice" person came along and scratched it. It is not really noticeable, except from an angle. If you look at the pics, you can't really see it. All in all, this is a really nice car for the money. The pictures speak for themselves. This car, being a 10 year-old vehicle, is being sold as-is where is. There is no warranty, or other guarantee. You are encouraged to see the car in person, or to have it inspected. And realize that you are buying a used car, and not a new car at retail from a dealer. Make sure you are 100% happy with the car before you bid. This is a bid to purchase the car. If there is something that you want a picture of, please let me know. I will get it to you. I want you to be 100 percent happy with this purchase. I have been brutally honest with my description of the car: I am actually nit picking when I describe the Jag. I have sold 2 Jaguars and a Corvette on e-bay in the past, and the purchasers were happy with the cars. Check out my 100 percent postive feedback rating. The title for this car is in hand, waiting for the new owner to sign. Bid with confidence. Your bid is a binding contract to purchase the car. The buyer must immediately contact me upon the end of the auction. A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 via paypal or cash in hand is required within 48hrs. of auction end. The remainder is due in cash, or certified funds. The payment must clear the bank before the car is released. This vehicle is offered for sale locally, and it may cause the auction to end if sold. *****This car is being relisted a second time due to a non-paying, 0 feedback bidder. Anyone with a new id, or 0 feedback will have their bids canceled. I apologize for anyone's inconvenience, but I had my time wasted by a 0 feedback bidder and a bidder with a new id. If you can not follow any of the terms of the auction listing, please refrain from bidding. Thank you. *****
