Vehicle Detail
This is a extremely clean 1992 Ford Mustang. Being a original Black 5 speed Notchback, it is a rare and wanted car. I wouldn't be selling except that I'm going through a divorce and want to sell before it becomes stored outside. I purchased the car from a dealer who actual took it in on trade from original owner. While the original owner had the car, SHE sold to her friend for a short period of time before she bought it back. After owning for several years, she traded it in. I still have contact information for original owner, and several of her service records. The car is not perfect and has been driven so has normal flaws, (the paint is slightly faded on truck, stone chips, etc). Dont want to make it sound like it is rough, because it is not by any means. I just want to be straight wtih any serious buyers because I'm not trying to convince you it is showroom condition. It runs perfect and drives great. It is mostly stock, with exception of few tactful additions including a new 373 rear installed about 1000 miles ago, still have others, believe they were 308s. I planned on leaving the car mostly untouch because I wanted to keep for years to come and have as a nice original car, not a car that is taken to a track and abused. The exhaust is off road with flowmaster. Tranny, rear end, motor fluids are all recently serviced with synthetic. Car has been recently tuned up with new, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, air filter cleaned(K&N), PCV value, fuel filter, water pump, power steering pump, oil fluids changed. There was no actual need to service the car, as it drove wonderful, but I believe in good maintenance. The car has a service light that comes on periodically that might be from the converters being off. I have the converters if the car is going to be registered in a state that checks emissions. Outside of the rear end and exhaust, only other upgrades have been a K&N air filter, MSD Digital ignition box, and pulleys. The AC worked last summer after it was charged, but is not working now. I believe it has a slow leak. This car is a beautiful car that gets a look of looks. It is a good investment for someone looking to keep. It is dependable and I would drive it anywhere. It is extremely nice and unabused car for a 1992 Notchback. Buyer will not be disappointed. Can send any additional photos needed. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The pictures should show you alot. Will give any details needed. If you have been watching for a nice Notchback I wouldn't let this one go. Anyone is welcome to come see in person. ThanksOn Jun-11-10 at 12:41:53 PDT, seller added the following information: to answer some questions: no original spare, some paint work has been done. was told the paint work was due to the oiginal had some fading. Ashtray lid closes and lighter jack works, but ashtray itself is missing. power windows work perfect, and locks work fine except the power button, Window tint is not faded. clutch is great. Tranny is great.wheels are original and have small flaws.
