Unrestored 1957 Pontiac Starchief, 4 Door Hardtop. This car runs like new! The interior is in excellent Shape. Leather seats, power brakes, steering, seats, windows, antenna (original switch doesn't work, but has override switch), Wonderbar radio. The leather has some cracking, but in excellent shape. The body is very good. The car will need a paint job. The paint is good, and as far as I know, never painted. The car looks great, but needs some work. I will tell you what's wrong rather than right. Windshield has a crack, just above driver side wiper, not in the view of driver) There are some small dents that can be easily removed. There is a small body dent (crease)along passenger rear door and fender. There is a dent in trunk lid and driver rear door. The front right fender has cracking paint. The paint has small rust areas, that disappear when polished. The chrome is good, but will need to be rechromed if you want to show it. The worst chrome is the rear bumber. The car was bought from an older man, who keep it in the garage and drove on Sundays. There is a new leaf spring, and brakes, and master cylinder, so the car rides smooth. It had new motor mounts and all fluids flushed. It starts and runs like a dream. Please email me with any questions or concerns. I am not a body expert, or restoration expert, but the car looks very solid, and my mechanic compliments the condition of the car. The undercarriage looks like it only has small areas of easily cleanable surface rust. I see no holes or patchwork.
