1959 Black Ford Thunderbird 2 door hardtop coupe. I purchased this car with the intent of restoring it, but was transferred from NC to Ohio for work and did not want to try moving it all the way to Ohio in its current condition. Many original and new parts for restoration are included in this auction. The tires are rotted and need replaced but the car can be towed on a flat bed or winched onto a trailer in its current condition, otherwise, a quick tire change would allow the car to be towed normally. Since I am in Ohio and the car is in NC, I will mail the title to the buyer once payment is received. Buyer must be able to pick up the car from the storage facility in Rocky Mount, NC where it is currently sitting. According to the previous owner, the car was made driveable within the last 10 years but needed a new fuel tank and has been sitting for at least 5 years. The title I have from the previous owner was issued in 1985 in NJ and has mileage listed at 76,347. As for my reason for selling, I really did not want to, but I have been asked to have the car removed from the storage facility by the end of the month due to the fact that they are going to be adding a new building where the car is sitting and he has nowhere else to put it on the lot, which is my reason for selling, that and the fact that I am now in Ohio and the car is in NC and I do not have the equipment to haul a car that distance.
