I am selling my wife's 1989 Honda Accord Se-i. This is the last year of the third generation Accord - it is what really put Honda on the map as a world class manufacturer of autos. The Se-i was the highest end Accord you could get and they are VERY hard to find (check for yourself). This vehicle is not only a reliable daily driver with LOW miles but is also a hard to find classic. The Accord was a great car that drove better than most of its day because of its double wishbone suspension, power steering and fuel injection. In addition the Se-i model came standard with full leather, Bose surround stereo, alloy wheels, power moon roof, cruise control, power windows and a 120 HP 2.0L engine (the Lx came with a 100 HP 2.0L). The accord was also unique as one of the first to put cruise control and stereo controls on the steering wheel. This car is not in mint condition. Some of these things can be seen in the pictures and they are: driver's seat leather is torn, some rust around the rear wheel well and faded paint (it is not peeling though). The other issues are: Bose stereo is not working right - I believe the amp is blown, the stereo powers up and plays music but the sound is bad. Also the two CV joints in front need to be replaced - they click when you turn the wheel hard. This does not affect the drive-ability but they should be replaced (cost is about $60 each). Besides what I've just mentioned above this car is in excellent condition. Also everything is original, except that it has newer exhaust, tires and a battery. You will find not many Se-i out there, much less one with this low of miles. I can't stress enough how well this car starts and drives. Please bid only if you are serious about buying. On Jun-07-10 at 16:26:55 PDT, seller added the following information: A seller asked a question about when the timing belt was changed and I replied that it has not been replaced since our family has owned this car (10 years or about 20,000 miles ago). After talking to my Father-in-law he told me it was replaced just before he bought it. Sorry for the confusion. So in summary it was done at about 70,000 miles.
