This 2008 BMW 750LI was purchased at an auction here in San Diego a few days ago. It was in a front end collision and sustained damage to many parts in the front of the car. All parts presently removed from the car are assumed damaged or non repairable. The car was missing the front bumper, hood, core support, headlights, and other smaller components when I got the car. The Head on the driver’s side of the motor, and the plastic intake manifold has damage and will need to be replaced prior to starting this vehicle. The body shop disconnected the battery to prevent attempted starting of the car. The frame rail on the driver’s side of the car appears to have a slight bend in it and will need to be pulled on a frame machine. The shock tower on the driver’s side has a dent in it as well, although I don’t believe it will interfere with operation of the front strut. The driver’s air bag deployed at the steering wheel and under the steering wheel. You are responsible to arrange transportation for this car if you are buying it from out of the San Diego area. If you need help arranging transportation let me know and I can help you. The rest of the car is beautiful with all the bells and whistles. Navigation, Power everything, I-pod gadgetries, Heated electric seats. Better to just say it has it all. This car is a good project for someone that wants a $50,000 dollar car but only wants to be in it for about half of that. You will find the parts you need at car-parts.com or searching Craigs list and ebay for the deals. This car has a Salvage Certificate from the state of California and will need to be fixed and registered in your location.
