This is one that needs work...read this description carefully and look over all the photos, do not bid if you cannot perform the required repairs.
This is a 1997 Infinity I30 sedan with 177,000 one owner miles. The exterior is Dark Blue Metallic and it is rough. The body is dinged/dented and the paint is dull. The left fog lamp is broken. Not too much to say here..let the photos do the talking.
The interior is Tan leather and is very soiled. Carpets are dirty, leather needs a good cleaning. The power windows/locks/radio/moonroof and seats are all working. There are no smoke or pet odors, the lighter and ashtray are unused. The air conditioning is blowing cold.
The engine is a 3.0 V6 and it starts up and runs decent. The transmission does shift through all the gears.
All the tires are matching Goodyear radials mounted on the factory alloy rims. The tires are unevenly worn to 5/32". Alloy wheels are badly stained from brake dust and have suffered from curb rash.
We did have our shop look at this Infinity before offering it for sale and our technician found a list of problems. Here is just some of the issues he found; ABS (anti-lock brake) light is illuminated, check engine light illuminated, leaks from the oil pan/intakes/both cv joint boots/rear main seal/power steering pump, lower radiator support rusted, muffler rusted and struts are worn. We did not service this vehicle, just checked the fluids and topped off the levels.
There is a valid New Jersey inspection good until 2/2011. We have 2 keys with non working remotes.
There are lots of issues with this car, but it can be fixed or used for a source for parts.
The Carfax report is clean with no collision history. We do not subscribe to other history reporting agencies so we base our info on the accuracy of Carfax.

We are frequently asked about rust issues. Since we are in the Northeast where roadsalt is used in winter, expect that there will be some signs of rust on all our listings. This may be in the form of undercarriage surface rust or in some older vehicles..panel rust. If there are perforated panels, we wll disclose and photo the damage.
Every effort is made to accurately describe our listings. However, these are used vehicles and some indications of wear will be evident communsurate with age and mileage. We cannot list every flaw in a pre-owned vehicle. Due to the mechanical complexity of modern vehicles, dash warning lights may illuminate for many reasons. We will NOT be responsible for service engine, check engine, traction control, SRS Airbag or ABS lights being illuminated after the sale. If any of these lights are on during our listing process, we will disclose it in the listing. Please be aware that you are not bidding on a NEW vehicle. Some vehicles will be offered with limited powertrain warrantees included in the purchase price. Extended coverage may be available at additional cost. Vehicles with over 100k miles do not qualify for warranty coverage. We do not guarantee state inspections. Many of these listings will require some repairs. If you are halfway across the country, please do not ask if you can drive 1000s of miles uneventfully. We do not know the answer to that question. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles.
