1980 Johns Cars Conversion TR-7 Buick 231 with Kenne Belle internals. 9:5:1 compression, .030 over, Edelbrock 500 CFM carb, Holley electric fuel pump, Accel HEI distributor Approx 10,000 miles since rebuild Mobil 1 synthetic only 93 octane or better Body in good shape except for 1 small quarter sized repair needed, see picture Borg Warner T-5 tranny with Hurst shifter. Original differential. Needs steering rack. The connection that slides over the pin on the subframe has snapped. There is one on Ebay for $180. While replacing it, I would change the tie rod ends and boots, as you would already be in there. Needs carb cleaned/rejetted. Headlight motors work, but inline fuse is blown. I wind them by hand. Needs a brake light switch and a headlight switch. I currently have them wired to a toggle switch. Fun car to drive, turns heads. Lost interest, wife dislikes it. CT does not title vehicles of this age. All other states are aware of this. Sold with bill of sale only. I have lots of documentation, and some spare parts that would go with it.
