1970 CAMARO Original CA –No Reserve- No RS Rare documented original Van Nuys assembled California Camaro with the original build sheet. Clean California title with non-op. Body is solid and straight with a few digs and dents. Minor surface rust easily removed with 3M “waffle” discs (see pics). Usual rust places in fenders just show some minor blistering in lower right front fender(see pics). Looks like someone started to strip a repaint as some of the original yellow paint is visible. Glass is OK except windshield which is cracked Interior needs resto. The seats have the ’70 head rests and original coverings. Dash is complete with air conditioning outlets and an older AM/FM radio. Column has ignition key; console is in very good condition; “stirrup” shifter. Floor covering has been removed showing no rust in floors or trunk…original yellow overspray visible. Original door panels, plastic trim panels in very good condition including rear “sail” panels. Matching numbers 350 motor with complete components. Radiator is missing. 350 transmission. Power steering, power brakes, front discs, air conditioning. Two barrel carb. I have had the Camaro since 1996 intending to restore it but, regrettably, after 14 years it must find a new home. Rear wheels shown in the picture are temporary, Camaro will have wheels matching the existing front wheels. Please feel free to ask questions and I encourage an appointment to view the car in person.
