Up for auction is a 1972 Honda 600 Coupe. I got it as a project car and had originally planned to restore it but underestimated the time it will take and with little kids it is no longer feasible. I am not a "car person" I just always really loved these little guys and it turns out I'm in over my head... so my loss is your gain. I had listed this yesterday and decided to pull the auction and re-list it so I could update the description since I went to move the car last night and it appears that there is no power to starter. I had my friend look at it this morning and while the lights come on, the solanoid doesn't click. He thinks it may be an inline fuse or starter but can't be sure. So, while the engine was running fine a few days ago, it isn't at the moment. (Sorry to the 2 bidders, I was unable to contact you before pulling the auction - apparently, Ebay blocks contact until an item sells.) Needs a muffler, brake work and the clutch needs adjustment. Some of the parts had already been removed when I purchased it (radio, visors, rear view mirror, rear hatch, side lights, hatch glass) and all those are included in the auction. Please look carefully at the pictures. The only thing that is not shown in the parts photo is the hatch glass which has been removed from the plastic frame and will go with the car. All the glass is in good condition. Rubber gaskets need replacing all around (see photos). The headliner is in good condition (the picture looks like there is a rip in it but those are the wires hanging down from where the console was removed.) The body has been worked on by its previous owner and some of the rusted areas have been repaired. While it has a fresh paint job, I would classify it as amateur – there are some runs in the paint which I tried to capture in one of the close up photos. Tires are in good condition and it has the original style wheels. Overall dimensions of the car are 10’x 4’ wide so it is super tiny and will be an awesome project for someone with more time! While this car does run, it will need to be transported - not driven to its new home. This is a no reserve auction so happy bidding! Please ask any questions BEFORE bidding. Sorry for the confusion!
