I bought this 1986 Toyota 1-Ton truck 4 years ago. At the time it was configured as delivered from the factory (See included Window Sticker) plus camper top and had only 16,000 original miles. The previous owner kept the truck covered and used it only for the occasional weekend fishing trip. I have used the truck as a daily driver since that time and it now has 82,908 original miles. The only thing really wrong with the truck at this time is the A/C compressor bearing or clutch went out a couple weeks ago and I just removed the A/C belt. I do not plan on fixing this before sale. I no longer use the camper top as its color is faded, It is included with the truck if the winning bidder wants it. If the winning bidder does not want the camper top, I will dispose. Original features of the truck include rare 1-Ton suspension, complete towing package, 5-Spd manual transmission. Other factory features can be seen on the included window sticker. The upgrades that I have made on this truck since purchase include: Replaced low-geared 3rd member (differential) with higher gear for highway travel and Detroit Trutrack limited slip differential (LSD), Rhino Liner Spray in bed liner, American Racing Outlaw II wheels, factory Air Conditioning System, SR5 Gauge cluster (adds tachometer, Odometer set to ending mileage of basic gauge cluster at install), and all new wheel bearings, all new shocks, Pioneer Supertuner CD stereo w/ Alpine speakers in original dash location, and new rear sliding window with dark tint glass. Crossbed tool box is included. I also have the 4 original wheels (that have almost new tires on them) and all 4 center caps included. I also have the original 3rd member (rear end) with low ratio ring and pinion gear (only has about 18K miles on it) included. I will also throw in the old gauge cluster, and several additional parts (fog light wiring harness, new fuel filter, and new oil filter). There is some rust show up at the seam between the two bed panels and bottom of tailgate and edges of fender wells. I have been able to control with annual touch-ups. As you can see in the photos, the interior is in remarkably good condition. There is only a slight tear in the seat at the drivers side edge. This is a great truck for its age, but with any 25 year old vehicle, it requires a fair amount of TLC. I am not interested in shipping, plus, all the extras could not be shipped along with the truck. Also included with Truck is Toyota Factory Service Manual. Tires on the truck are almost brand new........ 2. Good News ... Discovered that A/C compressor or clutch is not broken as described above. Idler/Tensioner pulley is broken. I do not have time now to order the pulley and replace before auction ends. Replacement pulley online is $17 at RockAuto ... so this simple repair should have A/C working again.On May-26-10 at 11:36:45 PDT, seller added the following information:More Good News... Found a tensioner pulley locally and installed. A/C working now.
