Up for sale is a mostly restored 1980 Firebird . Orignally a V/6 car, it was removed and replaced with a 1995 Corvette LT1 Fuel Injected motor. All this work stated has been done within the last year and teh motor has around 1,500 miles on it since finished. The motor was rebuilt from the bottom up, the factory aluminum heads and intake were sent out to get ported and polished, the stock Vette cam was used, a new waterpump was installed, new thermostat and housing, new radiator, all new hoses, new optispark distributor, plugs and wires, long tube ceramic coated headers with new o2 sensors fabricated into the exhaust. BBK 58 MM Throttle body, polished aluminum Grannetelli Air Intake elbow, Grannetelli MAF housing. New MAP sensor, crank sensor, coolant level sensor and all the other sensors are all new as well. The ECU was sent out to be tuned and flashed. Once the car was drivable the car was taken to my mechanic and it was professionally tuned, set-up for the 10 bolt rear and Richmond 373 gears along with the 2,500 stall. 4L60E tranny with overdrive that has 1,500 miles on it as well. Has all new gauges, tach, speedo,volts,fuel,temp,oil,all built in to a fabricated-original appearing gauge panel and then covered in the machine swirl vinyl to give a factory look.All interior parts have been purchased new from NPD sail panel, door panels, dash cover, seats have been re-upholstered with white leather on the sides and black cobra skin in the middle inserts. Carpet is new, new steering wheel, pedal pads, new Rockford fosgate speakers in the deck panel. Spintech exhaust with true duals dumped at the axle. Has some rust inthe L.REAR quarter, trunk lid, rear floorpans. A few spots on the door here and there, but not really noticable. Car is 80% done, just needs some body work, floorpans in the back and a beautiful paint to be perfect. Has 18" wheels 18x8 in the front, and 18x10 with Like-new 305/3518 Mickey Thompson ET Street on the back. Has a 1978 front clip on it, also has Trans am fenders, and a Formula hood, Have a Shaker hood that goes with the car as well as the original 1980 nose.
