1983 Ferrari Mondial Cabriolet VIN# ZFFMC15A4D0048205 Red/Black. 3.0ltr DOHC 32Valve V8. On offer we have a Quattrovalve Mondial Cab. with 67k original miles. Overall the car is in fair to good condition and the last major service (incl. timing belts) was done 5 years ago at 60k miles. Overall the car is a nice driver, The paint is excellent. The car has had 1 respray and it still show great. The car also has a clean carfax with no stories (ie., original miles, no accident history etc...). The previous owner "upgraded" the interior with leather sport buckets, new leather rear seats and console. The car runs good and the transmission shifts smoothly. The clutch and synchros are fine (incl. 2nd gear). We brought the car into our shop and went over it plus changed the oil and filter. It needs a minor service at this point; a couple axel boots are ripped, the car needs detailing, hood struts are weak etc.. Probably one or two thousand dollars in servicing. And in the next year or two it will need a major service based upon time, not mileage. At our buy it now of $18,500, we'll do the necessary minor servicing now but not the major. However we'll do the major service for an extra $3,000 over and above our buy it now of $18,500. And regarding the major service you could probably hold off for another couple of years because there's on 7k miles on the last major, so it would be done for time not mileage. Otherwise it's fine as is as a decent driver. It drives nice, you won't be disappointed. The car is priced very fairly at under $20,000. Most Ferrari's for sale at this price point are basket cases with major issues. This is a decent driver and will be great as someone's first Ferrari and just a cool beach car.
