Vehicle Detail
This is an '83 CB1100F, which Honda names as it's first super bike. This one is not an original. It's an 1100 engine and body parts on a '81 900 frame. The two frames are identical, except the 900 was a little shorter. So it handles a bit better than the 1100, but the front end will come up a little easier. The odometer reads 9,140 miles, but I don't know if they are from the 1100 or the 900. The title shows "exempt." The bike looks very good for it's age. The engine is very clean. The body panels were all repainted last year, and the tank was replaced with a new one. Other work done to the bike last year includes a new seat cover, new speedo and tach cables, Vance and Hines 4 -1 exhaust and stage 2 jets, K&N filters, valve adjustment, new brake pads and rotors on the front, and Barnett performance clutches. I replaced the battery last week. This bike needs nothing. Everything works as it should. It starts easily, and is a strong runner. It's an old bike in great shape that gets looks and respect everywhere I take it. Also included in this auction will be an extra rear brake rotor. I planned on replacing it, but decided that the one that's on it isn't bad enough yet to bother with it. I will accept PayPal, money orders, or cash. If paying with a money order, the bike will not leave my house until the check clears. No exceptions. I will ship anywhere in the U.S. I have bought and sold several bikes online, and as such I have some experience shipping them. I am willing to assist the buyer with shipping if needed. There is no reserve. Happy bidding. O.k., as has been pointed out to me several tires, I forgot to mention the tire condition. They are new Pirellis, replaced last year. About 90% tread left. PLEASE READ THIS: Please stop sending me comments about your bikes and things you have done to them. Every time you do that, Ebay sends me alerts telling me I have an unanswered question about my bike. I go out of my way to get online and check my messages, and it's someone bragging about their bike and the mods they've done to them. I'm not an asshole, but this is an auction, not a forum. Also, please don't waste my time or yours by sending me messages asking what my bottom dollar is. You can see the starting price, and that's obviously the bottom dollar. If it doesn't sell for that, I'll keep it. It's not costing me anything sitting here, and it's a great conversation piece.
