Great project truck! Relisted because somebody did the buy it now option and then deleted their ebay account. Do not bid on this item unless you plan on following through with the purchase. RAT ROD This 1957 chevy truck is setting on a frame that is half 91' model chevrolet (front) and the origional 57 frame in the rear. This allows for independent front suspension as well as disc brakes. The rear axle is from the "donor" 91' chevy truck as well. It is bolted in with the brackets but will have to be welded. I wasn't sure if somebody would want to place the axle above or below the springs to set the height of the vehicle. The engine and transmission is also from the 91'. This truck does not run currently. When I bought the 91' the engine did turn over. I planned on rebuilding the motor so I didn't chase down the problem. The body does have rust in the normal places for this model of truck. There isn't anything rusted that you can't buy a patch panel for easy repair. Does not have the windshield or rear glass. I do have the origional steering column but don't think it will work with the 91' steering box. I have the steering column from the 91 and both are included in this auction. Also have the origional seat. The fabric is definately bad but the frame and springs can probably be recovered ETC. Auction also includes inner fender walls, front bumper, and origional radiator, Truck will have to be put on a trailer for transport.
