Vehicle Detail

Car is from Oregon 2 years ago, has been in storage in New Hampshire. Mileage is 117,231. Diesel engine is strong and runs great. New fuel injectors, new rear engine/tranny mount, new universal joints on drive shaft, new fuel gauge sending unit, new clutch pedal shaft bearings, new K&N 50K mile air filter, rebuilt generator, rebuilt fuel injection pump (10K miles ago). Good tires with lots of tread. Paint is average, with dings and scratches, a couple spots of surface rust. Red leather seats in very good condition for their age, driver's seat shows the most wear as expected. Bumpers have been re-chromed within the last few years. Very comfortable ride...the suspensions on these old MB's are great. Car must be picked up in NH, no delivery. Will help coordinate transport. $1000 deposit via PayPal due within 3 days of auction close. Balance due in cash or USPS money orders no later than car pick-up. On May-19-10 at 12:22:24 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: I've gotten several questions about rust. There is a nickel-sized surface rust spot on the hood, and several at the bottom of the right front door. These are surface only, solid metal underneath. There are some nicks and scratches in the paint, with some very light rust in these. There are some signs of rust between the right rear fender and the apron below the rear window, in the seam where the fender welting rides. There is some rust on the rear door sills, underneath the rubber mats. It is significant, but not rusted through. Easily repairable by a competent body shop. The underside / undercarriage / suspension is rock solid, with some surface rust only, no rust through (or anything close to it) on the floor pans or rocker panels. Concerning the leather seats, there is a .75 inch tear on the driver seat, and a .50 inch tear on the front passenger seat. Back seat has no tears, nicks or rips. Anyone interested in inspecting the car is welcome and encouraged to do so...email me to arrange.
