For sale is a 1997 Mercedes-Benz SL500 Convertible, 5.0 Liter V8 Fuel Injected engine. I am offering this for a local gentleman. The car is currently with its second owner, who has owned it since it had 11,300 miles. While the car is in the upper midwest it has never seen a winter. It has always been stored away until winter is long gone. It is only a fair weather car, it does not see any bad weather. The car is in mint condition. The only item that is less than perfect is the left rear corner bumper and left rear corner brake light, both has been scratched (see picture). Included with the auction is a silver hard top, which is being stored at the local Mercedes dealership (the hard top has not been used). Also included is the Mercedes cloth cover that protects the car's finish when the car is parked in the driveway. I cannot find any defects other than what is mentioned. The leather interior is mint, the engine, trunk, carpets, everything is mint. The rear tires has less than 3000 miles on them. The front tires are not as good, I estimate they have about 20-30% life left. The title is clear, and I have included a picture of the title. Per the vehicle title report: Yes, the car at one time did have a loan on it, Yes, the loan has been paid in full and a picture of the title is shown (name blocked out though). A few of the car's specifications: Color is called Smoke Silver, This car has the Sports Package, and AMG wheels, Power steering, power door locks, power driver's seat, power brakes, power windows power passenger seat, AM/FM stereo cassette, A/C, Tip odometer, tachometer, Cruise control, driver and passenger airbags, Leather Upholstery, anti lock brakes, and Bose Sound system with CD player (in the trunk). All the hydraulics work perfectly.
