This Celica is known in our household as the "wonder car." We bought it as a first car for my son when he was in High School, but for the last 3 years it has been our spare car. Now it's car #5 in a household of 3 drivers, so it's got to go. It's the "wonder car" because any time one of our other cars was in for service or disabled or whatever, the celica would start right up and take us wherever we wanted to go. This would make a great first car for a student, or a great spare car for someone. Listed as-is where-is -- it is, after all, a used car. However, I'm listing it as no reserve, and the starting price is well below the cost of the new parts (tires/brakes/radiator) on the car. NJ Inspection sticker good through July 2011. The Good: Mechanicals (engine, trans, steering, brakes) are great -- it just goes, and goes, and goes. The chassis is straight on, the alignment is perfect. Less than 3000 miles on Radiator & hosesTiresBrakes (they had a complete rebuild to as-new condition - all pads/shoes/calipers/rotors/drums/master cyl).The Bad: Exterior/Interior -- the body is a little rough: Dented front passenger fender (can be popped out, I was too lazy to do it)A little rust around 3 of the wheel wells.The trunk lid is a little bent. It closes and seals fine, but requires patience.Sunroof is sealed because it was leakingThere are 'happy face' decals around the sunroof.... again, I was too lazy to remove them.The antenna is broken.The A/C isn't working (I know this because the A/C compressor is in the trunk in a box). Title is in-hand, and will be transferred upon cleared payment.
