These auctions cost us big boys time and money. Thank-You!! Up for your consideration is my 1985 Ford F250 supercab. It has the XLT Lariat trim package along with the Explorer towing package. This was top of the line back in the day. 85,500 ORIGINAL miles on it. 460 engine with C6 transmission. Not sure of rear end gears. Feels like they are low for pulling.THIS IS A 2WD TRUCK. Has been pretty well maintained with recent tune-up, oil change, $100 Battery, solenoid, Edelbrock carb, alignment, stereo, tires 80%, complete new tie rod assembly. Exterior is pretty decent, Few small spots of rust around rear fenders and typical dings dents and scratches. It is an 85. and a worker Excellent frame.Has bed liner tow hitch and trailer brakes along with tranny cooler. Be great for pulling that boat or camper.Interior is really nice. Captain chairs, tilt wheel, power windows, delay wipers, brand new Pioneer CD player, Dual tanks, (both work) Have to see it. Like riding around in a caddy. Has A/C and is converted to 134 but it is not currently working. Don't know why but is is complete. Driven daily with New WV sticker till May of next year. May need a little TLC as it is 25 years old. I would hop in it and go any where. . Goes down the big road nice. What I know is wrong with it is: Tailgate latch not working right.(still opens) back slider window has weld splatter on it. Exhaust has a small leak. May be donut gasket or exhaust manifold gasket. Not way loud but worth mentioning. Front rotors little warped. New ones are included and a little cold blooded in morning. I believe the electric choke on new carb needs a little adjusting.Little stuff. Pretty minor for a nice cheap ride. Overall It is a fine classic vessel.Just a good old truck. Just bigger then what I need. Could be yours!! Was trying to swap it but couldn't find any good deals so now I am here. have took lot's of pics.Need more pictures or info. please ask before bidding. I was wanting to trade this for a 1/2 ton 4x4 chevy truck or suv and have been looking at what another truck is gonna cost me. This truck will be hard to replace for what I am asking. Anything I buy has ALOT more miles and is gonna need more stuff done to it then this one... Just drove it 60 miles today to take my trailer couple towns over and it is a pretty good ole truck. Make someone a nice one. Mileage will vary as I am using it. Someone wants it now give me hollar. Got it for sale local for $2000 until it makes reserve. Well worth the money. It is real solid and needs very little to be a great truck!! All I see is what I have listed. I have put near$400- $500 in it last couple months getting it right as it is. When turned on the compressor kicks on and cycles then goes back off then back on... Was told it probably just needs freon. Don't know. so I am selling as not functioning.
