Vehicle Detail

A true muscle car with the original four-barrel carbureted 343ci V8 with 285hp and original automatic transmission, twin-grip axle, and handling package. It has had only three owners, with fewer than 65K actual original miles on the odometer. Its features include: factory air conditioning (cold air), original and operating AM radio, power steering, power front disk brakes, heavy duty suspension system and factory Go Pack option. The original owner’s manuals are in the glove compartment. Purchased new at Mockingbird AMC in Dallas, it spent most of its life in the Dallas area indoors out of the elements. After moving to the Tulsa area it was restored and continued to be stored indoors. We know the entire history of the car; we’re the third owners. The rust-free body is finished beautifully in glossy, (original color) Calcutta Russet metallic paint. All new saddle tan colored (original color) reclining bucket seats. Original factory rallye (Magnum 500) wheels with space saver spare tire in the trunk. This AMX has been entered into two car shows and won of a trophy at each. This one is rare and beautiful throughout. The 1968 AMX continues to appreciate rapidly, even as other more common muscle cars are losing value. The 1968 is the rarest and most coveted AMX of all. You will not find a better AMX than this one, a great investment.
