For Sale is a 1976 Mercedes Benz 450SL. Recent work includes rebuilding the brake system (new master cyliner, new brake booster, new front calipers and related hardwear) Front subframe bushing were replaced, including the lower bushing, mounting cup, bolts, mounting tabs, spacers and the steering damper. A four wheel alingment was performed after. The soft top is new within the last two years. We do not yet have the hard top for it. The exhaust cross over pipe was rebuilt, dry rotted EVAP hoses replaced in the back of the car Overall the car is in good driving condition.Tires are new within the last two years and have good tread. The body and paint are good shape. It has been painted at some point and you can see that the paint on the sides of the car is of a slightly diffrent shade then the trunk and hood.There is some paint damage on the right front fender about the size of a half dollar. The seats are in good shape along with the carpet and wood. There is however a crack in the center of the dash board. The other problem not yet delt with is the drivers door lock does not opperate and would need a new door handle and lock assembly. We can repair this before the sale if said buyer wishes.
