1986 BMW 735i four door sedan, no rust FL car! This is a nice original FL BMW 735i sedan. Overall it is in very good condition and it's a great rust free candidate for a restoration. These smartly equipped cars were extremely well built and were trendsetters in their time. This one has weathered the years very well and also has low milleage for it's age. The 6 cylinder engine runs very smooth and there are no known issues with it. We did bypass a leak in the heater core as there was a minor amount of coolant smell in the car. The car is fully operable. The car has a driver quality repaint which is very presentable, though it is a slightly darker shade than the interior door jambs which are more of a silver color. I found no evidence of any fill or prior repairs to the body however, and it is completely rust-free. There is a minor crease on both lower front fenders just behind the front wheel opening, they look to be easily repaired and there is no rust. The interior is extremely nice overall, and all real wood accents are intact and outstanding. Most of the leather is excellent though there is some wear in the driver's seat and a small tear in the right rear bench. I was unable to operate the sunroof but the motor does run and I think that these are cable operated so it should not be too difficult to restore this function. The other power options are all functional, and there are many! As pictured, the trunk has a factory tool kit in the lid, this appears to be unused and is quite the find!
