Hold on...I need a minute to swallow the lump in my throat... Regretfully I'm selling my 60 dbl cb. I bought this about 15 years ago with full intentions. Those intentions have never come and I'm realizing that they'll never happen. It is in the exact condition as when I bought it with the exception of the dents on the roof from the temp garage collapsing on it. All there, great shape for it's age. Still has the bias tires, dried up door weatherstripping, dash hasn't been cut up. The only 2 things are 1- the rear wheel wells were cut higher to allow for easier tire changing I guess and 2- there are these odd square cuts here and there around the body and tailgates. These 2" squares were cut out then welded back in like someone was practicing. About 3 or 4 of them. Long before my ownership someone sandblasted the body but didn't cover the windows. They're ruined with pits. All glass will need to be replaced. The front floor was redone at one point. The undercarriage is very good. Seats must have redone, they're perfect. Cardboard headliner is drooping in one spot. All tailgates are there and are in very good condition. They have a few dings and the rear one is slightly bowed from carrying cargo of course. I even have that odd ball key with the square tip to open the gas flap and engine lid. Interesting there are no door locks and the ignition was replaced at one point because the new one sticks out from the column a bit. I used to start it up and drive it around in the driveway. Haven't done that in 10 years. All lights and elec worked back then. Would it start up again? Dunno, no time. I wasn't able to take a pic of the engine because of the other stuff in it's way. If I have time I'll try to snap a pic. The original color was blue. Just primer on it now. Want to come and take a closer look? No problem just give me a call first. It's a single port, single carb, my guess is like a 1500cc from the late 60's. Something like that. Even connected a battery and all electrical works. Lights, wipers, turn signals. Bypassed the old stale fuel with the pump sucking gas out of a jar hoping to have it start over but no luck.
