Here is a 1963 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport Convertible, a True SS, with SS option code "Z03" stamped right there in the trim code! Offered by the Vault Classic Cars, a California dealership. It's a nice car, and equipped with: 283 V-8, 2 barrel, 195 horsepower "d" code. very Likely the original engine. Powerglide automatic transmission M35 Supersport package Z03 Bucket seats SS console / floor shifter power top - works perfect and top fabric is new Power Steering SS spinner hubcaps AM radio The car runs great, and everything works - lights, horn, turn signals, wipers, etc. The only electrical thing that doesn't work is the gas gauge and the radio The interior is beautiful - excellent and correctly done seats, lovely padded dash with no cracks, nice clear instruments, and excellent chrome and plating throughout. I have the original owners manual showing the original owner, as well as all subsequent owners - but that gives us a clue into the car's weakness, which is, that it's from New Jersey, and has some rust and rust repair showing. I noted rust on the left rocker panel, both rear wheel lips, and a section in the vertical bulkhead of the trunk area. The SS side trim edges have a few dings. The paint, although it looks great in the pictures, really isn't that great. I think the car should have some bodywork done and be repainted to be a really nice car. So - not a perfect showcar, and it could use the talents of a good bodyshop, but it's a true SS convertible at a very reasonable price!
