Up for bid is a 1979 Honda GL1000 Gold Wing. This bike is in great shape for its age. It is a local trade in that has been well cared for. This GL has been kept in and the chrome and paint are in pretty good shape. The bike is also equipped with highway pegs, windjammer front fairing, vetter travel trunk, genuine honda hard bags, aftermarket running lights, AM/FM cassette, passenger floor boards, throttle lock, a fresh oil change, new front tire and the back tire still has 80%. All of the gauges, lights, etc work like they should. Do keep in mind that the bike is 31 years old, it is not perfect, there are some flaws here and there from everyday use and age. The only current discrepencies are two oil leaks, one of which is the shift shaft seal and the other is from the front engine cover. One is a seal and the other is a gasket, the parts will not be much if you can do this repair yourself and if you can't you should be able to hire it done for around $200 labor. The bike does not have to have these leaks fixed to be driven but I would recommend it. The only other thing is that the very tip of the front brake lever is broken off, you can fetch a new one for under $15.
