Up for auction is a 1996 Honda Passport 4WD V-6 with Automatic transmission. I purchased this SUV in December to use for winter driving. The transmission was replaced in February with a good used transmission from another Passport with 110,000 miles. The engine fires right up and runs strong. The transmission shifts smoothly and the 4WD engages easily and operates perfectly. I replaced 3 of the power window motors and regulators, so all windows move up and down their tracks with ease and the power locks work great. The interior is gray cloth and is in decent shape, but does show wear. I recently shampoo'd the floors and upholstery. The tires are in decent shape with ~50% tread remaining and a good spare on the back. The battery is only about 6 months old and was taken from another car that I own. There is damage to the front plastic fender flares, a few interior trim pieces missing and some minor rust on the body, mainly a couple spots in the door jambs. There are minor scatches on the body, indicative of a 14 year old vehicle. The engine has a relatively small oil leak that I have been unable to locate. It seems to go through about a quart a month. For a vehicle it's age, this Passport is in reasonable shape and was used for work travel. It has made multiple trips between Louisville, Cincinnati and Lexington and has never let me down. Your not bidding on a new vehicle, but this would be great for getting around town or having some fun in the mud. Thanks for looking and happy bidding. On May-08-10 at 08:59:11 PDT, seller added the following information: The title history shows that the mileage is not actual and "exceeds mechanical limits". The odometer works just fine and the mileage matches up on the background. The girl at the BMV tried to remove that from the new title, but was unable to. I bought this from the original owner and he stated that the mileage is actual.
