I bought the car from Tony Ordonio from Columbus, Ohio. It seems Tony was a Mazda design engineer in 2000. He designed parts of the Miata LS. He bought one. Needless to say that car was well cared for. I have made several modifications. Cars have to handle better and go faster if I own them. This one was no exception. I did a 1990 Miata that was featured on Miata.Net as the Miata of the Month in January of 2002. You might want to check there. Zoom Zoom has had a similar treatment, with the exception of the supercharger as opposed to a turbocharger. Tony had installed a Stage One Supercharger before I purchased the car. It ran about 6 pounds of boost and had no other upgrades done. Suspension, Tokico adjustable shocks and struts with Eibach Lowering Springs, was the first upgrade I did. This was followed by an Intercooler, 550 cc injectors and a Nemesis onboard computer followed by a 131 mm crank pulley. The car runs at 10 pounds of boost at present time. Zoom Zoom makes over 300 hp at the crank and over 250 rwhp. I know. I had it dyno tuned to find out the before and after when I changed from a 110 mm crank pulley to the 131 mm pulley. It made a huge difference. There is more horse power to be had. The injectors will need to be updgraded to 750 cc. This hould put you back in the seat. At 1/4 throttle Zoom Zoom feels like a very strong MX-5. At 1/2 throttle she feels like a V6. At full throttle Zoom Zoom feels like a full blown V8. The Supercharger whines a bit. It sounds awesome and off you go. Just be careful and you will have a bunch 'o fun. I have. I average 28-29 mpg. You will too if you cna keep your toes out of the Supercharger a bit. The mileage will go down to about 24 if you are boost happy for the entire tank of gas. I put in a Cltuch Happy Meal from Flyin' Miata. The car now starts without putting in the clutch. Be careful. The cluthc is a Stage I ACT performance clutch. I did the upgrade to make sure the clutch could handle the added torque. I will tell you that heavy and persistent gas pedal pressure will break the tires lose on wet pavement in second gear. Hit third hard and the same thing will happen. The car has been known to hang right with larger and much more powerful cars: Mustangs, Corvettes and Porsches to name a few. It is fun, but be careful. Other upgrades included a butterfly brace from Flyin' Miata, a strut tower brace and a Hard Dog Rollbar help to stiffen the chassis a bit. Zoom Zoom just got a new stainless steel skid plate. The trunk has a lift kit and does the hood. A filter relocation kit makes that part of the oil change a snap. Added a vacuum pump and you won't have to jack up the car or even get you hands dirty. The seats could use a bit of care, but not a lot is wrong with them. Why am I selling Zoom Zoom? Time for a new toy. The buyer is responsible for shipping and/or delivery.
