1996 Triumph Thunderbird

Pristine Triumph Thunderbird. I am the third owner of this bike. I met the second and he was friends with the first so I have a little more history than might otherwise be the case. This bike has always been garaged. It has had all required maint. The finish has always been maintained. I have had the bike for the last 6,000 miles or so and in that time I have replaced a fork seal and the fuel petcock no other problems have manifested and it has performed flawlessly. The bike came to me with Triumph bags, Triumph W/S and a lot of optional chrome (like the radiator ends). I added a Corbin seat, some Genmar risers, and I changed the chrome dash plate for a matt black one from a T-bird sport (the suns's reflection was blinding) At 18,000 I changed the hyd. lines to SS braided ones. I changed the front tire the rear was new when I got the bike. I have all the stock parts and they go with the bike, (even the used brake lines). I have the original owners manual and two shop manuals to go with the bike as well as a new air filter. The only flaw I know of is that the W/S is showing some fine cracks around one of the bolts. The W/S was new last year, so I have no idea why. It does'nt affect the operation of the bike, but I thought I should mention it as it is the only flaw I am aware of. When I bought the bike I planned on it being the last bike I ever would own, but then Triumph produced the Rocket III. I finally managed to procure one and now need garage room for it. I seriously considered building more storage, but decided to sell instead. Bid with confidence, this is a pristine machine. I forgot to say that the bike also has a center stand. Also I will deliver the bike to anywhere within 100 miles or so of Wichita Ks or I could pick you up at the airport. The weather is great and the bike does well on the highway.
