Vehicle Detail

1993 Touring 4.8L T56 POWERTRAIN: Engine is from a 2004 Chevy Silverado and is a 4.8L V 8. It currently has 51,000 miles. The engine has all camaro accessories and an ls1 oil pan. The ac compressor has 20,000miles. The engine is bone stock except for MSD plug wires, Edle broc 3”headers, JTR CIA and Magnaflow. The Harness a simplified and was made by Howell with plug in connectors and wires. The computer can be scanned as an 04 Chevy Silverado. COOLING: Hinson twin fan radiator setup. DRIVETRAIN: The transmission is a 6 speed from a 2001 Camaro SS and has 53,000. Ram Clutch only has 20,000 miles and was installed new at the time of the swap. The rear end is stock with the 3.9 gears OPTIONS: The car has power steering, ABS, reverse lights and A/C. All rear end bushings have recently been replaced w/super pro bushings. I have replaced all the OEM pillow ball bushings. POINTS OF INTEREST: Odometer is out. The car is running alttle rich but gets a good 22-23 mpg overall. The gas tank has rust in the top half and will need to be changed. I’ve taken it down and cleaned it with an acid and it didn’t help much so you will need change it or simply clean out the corvette fuel filter once a month located in the engine bay. There is a slight surge in the idle for 60 sec or so but it levels off. I’ve talked to a lot of shop owners and they say that can be taken out with a good dyno tune. The car runs great and strong. (email me for video links) I’ve driven the car for 20,000 miles. Buy it and a drive it home…where ever home is. INTERIOR: The interior seats have wear with a rip on the drivers leg area. The plastics on radio and shifter area are in good shape and are shined up. The gauge cluster helmet is new. The side plastics are ok with the passenger being glued to the door panel. New front defroster plastics up on the dash. New gauge ring lens and rings. I sprayed the doors and rear quarters and bins with SEMS vynle dye and sealed it. It has held up very well. I have a back seat kit that I bought from FD Newbie that will go with the sale. Clarion touch screen head unit and Bose wave radio system. Mazda Speed Carbon Fiber E Brake and Hurst shift knob. OEM Aluminium Rx-7 Pedals. EXTERIOR: 2001 Polyurethane front bumper no plate, smoked front lights, after market tails (rx8 look alikes). Efini whale tale spoiler (FD Newbie). All new OEM brake pads and new rear slotted rotors. The paint job is in good condition and is 6years old (3 stage black repaint). Stock moon roof works fine.
