Vehicle Detail
1990 Jeep Wagoneer Limited XJ This Jeep is in great shape inside and out. The paint is good and shiny and the vinyl (wood) is in awesome shape. It has the upgrade aluminum wheels with good Uniroyal Tigerpaw tires. It has a strong motor and transmission that shifts out perfect. Just installed a new radiator. Only 123,000 miles, thats only a little over 6000 miles a year! The interior shows little wear except on the drivers seat (see pics). For a 20 year old Jeep it looks fantastic. The rear seat looks almost brand new. The two front seats are powered and function properly. The selec-trac 4x4 is not currently working. Not sure why, but when you try to engage it nothing happens. It just stays in 2WD full time. Again, it works great in 2WD. It does have the standard Jeep slight oil leak. Recently the steering column became loose and it is now hard to steer Not sure whats up with that. I am sure it would be an easy fix. It also needs a new ABS brake actuator. The ABS actuator is still under a recall and I have been told be a couple mechanics that it is eligible for a free replacement regardless of age or mileage. Without the actuator, the brakes just feel stiff. I have driven it over 2 years with them like this. Never had any problem with them. The muffler could stand to be replaced, but its not necessary. Overall this is a great old jeep that needs just a little work to get it going properly. If you have any questions, let me know!On May-05-10 at 19:19:19 PDT, seller added the following information: ***************UPDATE I mentioned in the main text that the steering had recently become difficult. It turns out that the belt was not turning because the main wheel (at the bottom of the motor) that spins it came loose and fell off. It just needs to be put back on and it should steer like a champ. I had not noticed until today when I was amswering emails about the Jeep. The belt in question it the long (serpinetine belt) that runs the fan, the alternator and whatever else it runs. I have the wheel and the belt is intact, it just needs to be put back on. On May-06-10 at 04:06:32 PDT, seller added the following information: This is a USA only auction, thanks!
