My brother recently purchased this vehicle for his girlfriend but she is picky and does not want it. I am selling the vehicle for him since he has not used eBay before. He hopes to see it go to a good home and thinks it will be a great little car. Includes vehicle pictured and owner's manuals. I will make sure there is a full tank of gas. The convertible top manually opens and my wife, can open and close it with out a problem. The interior is clean with no signs that this ever belonged to someone who smoked in it. This is a NO RESERVE auction as the vehicle must go before my wife decides she wants to keep it. The car has features including: - AM/FM Cassette with 6 Disc CD Changer in trunk - Heated Driver and passenger seats - Tilt steering wheel - Power Windows and Locks - Locking Glove Box and Storage Compartment - Factory Security System with Flashing LED activated upon locking the door. I do not want any surprises, so I will do my best to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible. This 2000 Volkswagen Cabrio in good condition; however the following items need to be addressed. The LH (Driver side) Front bumper has had an impact and the bumper is cracked. The hood and LH front fender have been repainted. The interior is in good condition and the only problem known is that the cover for the rear cup holder is missing on the back side of the console (this can be ordered from Volkswagen for about $45.00). There are two keys but one of them will need to be programmed by Volkswagen to start the car. A safety inspection was completed and it was determined that the cruise control does not operate. Upon inspection of the cruise control we found that the vacuum lines and vacuum pump work fine so we believe the cruise switch does not operate (Part is about $140). The tires are in good shape but there are studded snow tires installed on the back (Quoted $235 to replace all four). The CD changer in the trunk works good but the changer door has a crack in it. There are various scratches in the paint and a small amount of clear coat peeling on the rear bumper. It is important to keep in mind that the vehicle is used and 10 years old; as a consequence there may be additional wear and scratches that is typical of the age. It is very difficult to describe every small mark. As a consequence there may be additional minor wear on the vehicle that is typical of the age, such as scratches, small nicks, abrasions, and door dings that are not indicated in this description.
