Vehicle Detail
I found this lovely, very low mileage, 1981 Honda Passport in a garage of a law student in Laramie, Wyoming over a year ago. He found the bike in a barn in Nevada where it had sat for over 15 years. He didn't have time with his studies to restore it so I did. I have gone thru it front to back! The following has been done: Cleaned gas tank and replaced fuel lines, replaced spark plug and air filter, adjusted valves, set points, cleaned and adjusted carburator, replaced both tires, cleaned and adjusted front and back brakes, cleaned and adjusted chain, replaced all bulbs in speedometer cluster so everything works, replaced headlight and headlight trim with "new old stock" pieces, purchased and installed mirrors and found a "new old stock" basket which is installed. All the turn signal lenses and the rear tailight lenses were replaced with "new old stock" lenses. The small hole in the side of the seat (pictured) was repaired. The body of the bike and the fairing are very clean with a few minor scuffs you would expect with a 29 year old bike. The exhaust pipe and chrome are beautiful. It comes with the original owners manual and a factory toolkit. The 3 speed clutchless transmission shifts very well. This Passport will go 50 miles per hour with my 200 pound butt on it and gets at least 70 miles per gallon (estimate). Some say up to 90 miles per gallon but who cares. It gets a MILLION SMILES PER HOUR! The bike has a clear title. I will not ship the bike unless we make arrangments after the auction. The pictures tell the story. No Surprises! If you would like to talk to me directly about this bike, please call Corky Walker at 307-690-1148. Thanks for looking!
