Vehicle Detail
Here is a Rat Rod I put together over the past year and a half. The frame made from 2x4 steel tubing. The front axle is1954 Chevrolet pickup and the rear-end is an early Ford 9". New wheel cylinders, brakes and 1954 Chevrolet master cylinder installed. The engine is 1977 Mopar RV with approximately 44,000 miles. Engine is stock with the addition of electronic distributor, Edelbrock aluminum intake and carb along with custom headers and Supertrapp mufflers. Engine is backed by a Mopar 727 automatic trans with a B & M shifter and custom driveshaft. The body is 1930 / 1931 Ford Model A two door sedan chopped 5" and channeled over the frame. The original floor was removed and 1" square tubing was welded in along with entire steel floor. New Vega steering box and the steering wheel is removable for easier access getting in and out of car. Gas tank is custom built and placed behind the rear axle along with the battery mounted under the rear floor. Grill shell is a fiberglass 1932 Ford reproduction piece that has been sectioned and widened to fit a 1964 Ford Mustang Radiator with electric fan. Headlights are 1935 Ford commercial vehicle and taillights are reproduction 1950 Pontiac. New wiring harness installed and everything works as it should. I have only driven the vehicle approximately 55 miles since I have had it running at a maximum speed of 60 mph. Vehicle runs very strong and does need suspension tweaking if planning on driving on long trips or at significant speeds. Vehicle was not built to be practical transportation and I do not have a T**LE, but I am willing to reasonably assist the buyer in obtaining one. There are many new parts on this vehicle and it does draw a lot of attention. The reserve is very modest as I am looking only to recover the cash I have tied up in it.
