1960 CHEVY IMPALA 2 DR. 348 TRI POWER 4 SPD BRIGHT RED NEWER RED/WHITE INTERIOR CLASSIC SUN TACH NEWER WHITE WALLS FENDER SKIRTS NEW EXHAUST REBUILT FRONT END PS/PB CD PLAYER WITH REMOTE IN GLOVE BOX Thank you for looking at my auction. Up for bid today is a beautiful head turner. This car is a car that you will just want to get in and drive. and have fun. It is not a show quality restored car, but a well done driver. I am a very picky seller, So I will list everything that I have noticed you don’t see in the pictures, and if you want more pictures, please feel free to ask. I am selling this for a friend who is very busy. The paint on it on the outside is nice and shiny. There is some knicks and small dents( no paint stressed). But overall looks very nice! The jams have not been painted, so it does not match in color, but the jams are a darker red. Also if you look from the back down the fins you can see some small dents or waves if you get down and stare, but from a few foot away it looks very well. The glass in the car, front and back are fine. But the pass side glass and vent are cracked. All the other side glass has bubbles in the glass, which I am sure is due to age. its all flat, so it should be easy to obtain. The trunk has been repaired to a OK standard, it is not a pan replacement. it was patched good and is solid and strong. it was also repainted over in the outside red. it does have a brand new OG trunk mat over the top of it, so it does show well. The trim of the car is in good condition for a car of the age. The worse parts are the front headlight trims on the fenders, which the owner could not find any good ones, so they could use replaced, but look ok also. All of the trim is in good restorable condition if you choose, but they are cleaned up and show well.. Two of the center tail lights are not broke, but have stress crack looks in the plastic, but I am sure due to the age and you have to look to see these. The 348 was told to be rebuilt when this owner recieved the car and runs real good and strong, tranny shifts great, and is a very fun ride. What a fun car, big block 4 spd. Finned valve covers. 3 chrome air cleaners. white walls, fender skirts, everything a hotrodder needs besides a hot girl sitting next to him, while cruising down the main drag in this car.. OVERALL this car is in nice shape that could use some TLC for the picky guy, or for the guy who just wants a driver at a good price and go out and cruise, hop in and enjoy it. Seller hates to sell, but he has a eye on another car. This car was drove on a few hundred miles trip with zero issues. You could fly in and drive it home. We have a airport within 10 min of the car called the Quadcity airport in zipcode 61265.
