Up for auction is our 1988 FORD F-250 XL Pickup Truck This truck will go to the highest bidder. There is No Reserve and Starting Bid is 99¢! Condition: Exterior: The paint color is beige. The outside of this car is in decent shape. It does have a few dents and scratches. In general the truck looks good for its year. The tires are like new. The bed does have a drop-in bed liner. This type of bed liner costs about $400. Interior: The interior is in pretty good shape as visible in the pictures. The interior is blue. Mechanical: The engine is good and strong. A few bad points: There is some oil leaking, but I don't know where it is coming from. Could just be some gaskets that need tightening. The steering wheel does have some play to it. I don't know how this is adjusted and it's a bit difficult to turn it, especially when you're not moving. I don't know if this truck is equipped with power steering or not. The turn signals don't work properly. This truck has two fuel receptacles. I don't know if this means that the truck has two tanks. The engine (short-block) was replaced at a Ford Dealership in the 90's at a cost of more than $1,500; I will try to locate the receipt. This truck is equipped with a 5.8 L heavy-duty V8, with electronic fuel injection. The engine produces 210 hp and 315 ft.-lb. of torque. The F-250 is a 3/4 ton truck with a max GVWR of 8,800 lb. It starts up quickly without any difficulty. This is a very powerful truck.
