Up for auction is this 1990 Ford F250 with a 7.5L 460 engine. It has an automatic transmission with push button overdrive. The transmission just started acting up. It wants to start out in third gear,,,if you manually shift it from first through fourth it does good. All they could tell me at the local shop is it's not the transmission itself because it doesn't act like it is slipping any gears,,it's something electronic telling it to start in third. I called the closest transmission shop (over an hour and a half away) they quoted me $40 for a full diagnostic (Idaho Transmission Warehouse). I don't want to deal with it so here it is. It is drivable as it is and runs good. The paint is blistering and peeling so the outside looks ruff. The inside is fair and so are the tires. It has a ball mount in the bed for towing and a drop hitch. One of the dual gas tanks isn't working either. The cruise works and so does the four wheel drive. Other than a few blems this would make a great work truck! I bought it for the motor for my other truck,,but I truly think it should be an easy fix and runs to good to part. If I can sell it for the price of a drop in motor for my other truck I would be happy to save a few knuckles!! I'll start the auction at $600 with no reserve!!! Good Luck!!
