Up for sale is a 1949 Ford F3 pick-up. The cab, doors, chassis, and drive train are from Arizona and are in very good condition. The 352 V-8 engine and 4-speed manual transmission are from a 1964 or 1965 Ford pick-up. The rear axle is also out of a later model pick-up although it is unknown what year. The cab is rust free except for one small hole, and the driver’s door has some bubbles as can be seen in the photos. The frame and suspension components have only some light surface rust. The fenders, hood, grille, running boards, and bed are from a Midwest truck and have plenty of dents and rust and are only temporarily bolted in place assuming restoration would be the next step. The truck could be put back into service though by completely bolting everything in place and adding a front bumper. The engine runs good and the transmission/clutch works great. One exhaust pipe to manifold donut gasket needs replaced. The picture of the dash gauges was taken with the engine idling. As you can see, the engine is almost to normal running temperature showing good oil pressure and charging voltage.I have a copy of the Arizona title before it was transferred to an Indiana registration. What you see in the photos is what you are buying, there are no extra parts or pieces. I welcome you to inspect the truck in person. Contact me to set up a time.
