This excellent example is owned by a mature private owner. It has been dry stored and is never abused. It has its "believed" to have its original four speed and 12 bolt-posi rear. The engine block however was replaced early on in its life by a correct 1970 396/350 which has a stock rebuild and original points distributor, correct Carter four-barrel carb, GM intake, etc. It is a testament to the love, care given to this very special 1969 Camaro SS over the years and it is a rarity in a world of clones and tributes. The Details; This 1969 Camaro SS was treated to a ground-up restoration that has approx. 3k miles since it was finished. It is a factory 76 paint code Daytona Yellow example that was refinished to its correct Exterior color. The all steel, pin straight body was disassembled and taken to bare metal. It was refinished in a high-gloss base/clear urethane. All the chrome, stainless trim, emblems etc. have been restored or replaced with factory correct new OEM quality parts. The 15” rally wheels and T/A radial tires are new and totally set the stage here. The result is awesome no doubt a traffic stopper. It has the correct hockey SS stripes and factroy steel SS big block steel hood. The glass is all good. The car has factory front and rear spoilers. The interior has been restored and in exc. condition. It has all the great options you could imagine from the 8k high-horse factory tachometer, 120 mph speedometer, factory 4 speed with console rally gauges, a rosewood steering wheel, full power steering, power disc brakes and so much more.The undercarriage is preserved with chassis black and a pleasure to see in this condition. The trunk is clean with new mat. Under the hood is spectacular and is highly detailed just look at the pix! The Mechanicals; The heart of this 1969 Camaro SS is its fully rebuilt 396/350hp big block V-8 (the block was replaced early in its life with a 1970 correct 396/350hp block) with only 3k miles since the total ground-up restoration was completed. The 396/350hp engine performance is legendary and will leave you breathless. It runs strong and is turn-key.. Everything is functioning as it should even the Rally gauges. All major mechanical components of this Camaro have been gone thru or rebuilt during the resto. The front-end suspension was all redone w/ new body mounts. It has a sweet new high-end aluminized dual exhaust all welded and just to much to list. This is one the best driving 69’s you will find and is a dream to drive.
