41K original miles!! Everything works. All gauges, radio, lights, horns, and wiring. Beautiful unmolested, original FJ40. Still has the original paint. Paint has a few scratches, but is very unbelievable for its age. I got this vehicle out of California about 2 years ago. That means no rust! Could not believe it was in such great condition. Mostly all the rubber on the vehicle had dried or cracked and has been replaced. The one addition I have added was a Toyota power steering unit. Much easier to drive. I have had several Toyota dealerships that would love to have this baby on their showrooms. It even has the original smog equipment that was required in California. The FJ is complete with the original jack, took kit, 4" lift kit, shovel/axe front bumper kit, owner's manual, and even has the original owner's card from the first purchaser. There was a previous extra gas tank that has been removed (see extra gas inlet in photos). Starts on the first pull of the choke, every time. Sounds like a sewing machine. It was originally used for a California jeep trail's business and then sold to a gentleman to drive at his weekend cottage at Big Bear Lake for many years. Not a lot of miles. Very few oil changes. Stays covered in my basement. It is driven to the ball parks and cruise ins, occasionally. I have too many toys and it is time to make room in the basement for my next project. New items added: BFG Mud-Terain tires ($800), Toyota power steering ($500), Clutch master and slave cylinders ($150), All new brake shoes ($125), Rebuilt brake master cylinder ($50), CB radio and antenna ($125), Front and rear seat upholstery with pads ($1200), Partial softop with sunroof ($150), Softop windshield channel rails ($45), Tailgate insert, for when hardtop is removed - painted original mustard yellow ($200), Ceiling ($150), Hardtop gaskets and seals ($200), Rear door window gaskets ($125), Door seals for all 4 doors ($200), Rear mat with pad ($125), LED bulbs for all gauges ($40) - really can see at night, Shock absorbers for all 4 corners ($200), Bushings for entire front end ($125), Visor covers ($50) and Tuffy console ($275). Original equipment highlights: Tool bag, Jack, Rear step, horns, working gauges, AM/FM radio, Mustard yellow paint, Owner's manual, and Original purchaser card. SEVERAL FOLKS HAVE ASKED ABOUT THE UNDERCARRIAGE. I HAVE TAKEN A DOZEN OR SO PICTURES AND HAVE EMAILED THEM INDIVIDUALLY. IF ANYONE ELSE WOULD LIKE TO SEE THEM, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. BASICALLY, THE UNDERCARRIAGE IS AS CLEAN AS THE REST OF THE VEHICLE. THE FRAME AND FENDER WELLS HAVE ALL PREVIOUSLY BEEN TREATED OR UNDERCOATED. NO RUST ANYWHERE.
