No Reserve 1973.5 Porsche 911T Targa. The 73.5 was the very last iteration of the "long hood" 911 and for the second half of 1973 was equipped with the new CIS fuel injection system. This example is truly excellent. it does not suffer from the rust that commonly plagues early cars. This car has been restored, and I have receipts that the prior owner spent on the car . Every mechanical system has been gone through, the paint is very nice and the interior is near perfect. The prior owner even had a brand new factory dash fitted and targa top rebuilt at considerable expense. I took this car on a road trip last week, and it was a joy to drive. The 915 gearbox is very precise with no syncro problems at all and the clutch is smooth and linear. The brakes are strong and straight. The car accelerates quickly and goes up the revs with a lot of ease and surprisingly strong power. This Classic 911T is a lot of fun to drive and the handling is terrific. European specs and rides on 4 Yokohama tires mounted on Fuchs wheels that are in VG condition. The car had a very nice repaint in Silver from the original Pale yellow. The interior is also really nice with good carpets and original seats. The door pockets are original and good shape. All the gaps and alignments are excellent, all the seals look new as well as the glass. All the electrical equipment works as it should with the exception of the clock. The exhaust an original exhaust is a great sound, . This very pretty Classic S-look 911T is ready to be driven immediately. Just turn the key and go. No rust, VG running engine and a lot of fun to drive. We have set a fair price, Bid with confidence.
