Up for sale is this 1976 Dodge Aspen 2 door coupe with only 20,470 original miles on it. I acquired it about 4 years ago at an estate sale, where it had been garaged and undriven since 1992. That was also the last year it was registered. It has a 225 cu. inch slant 6 engine. These engines are famous for their strength and endurance, its hard to kill 'em! It runs good but could use a tune up. It has a rebuilt Advance Auto carburetor and a new fuel pump. The AC works, but blows cool not cold, needs freon I guess. Also has power steering and brakes. The rust free body looks good but has a dent in front of the left rear wheel well, and a new fender on the right side. I have the fender moulding but not the door moulding. The interior is in very good shape, no damage to the vinyl seats, and only a small hole in the headliner and 3 tiny cuts in the driver door panel. . I installed an AM/FM stereo with cassette and 2 Sony speakers. I think I still have the original radio. The Goodyear Decathalon tires are in great shape, as are the chrome bumpers and moulding. All glass is damage free . Its in real good shape for a 33 year old car. This will be an easy car to restore, or use it to make an Aspen RT clone. Ive been informed that the front end of this car fits in a 1950 Ford pickup, so if youre restoring that old Ford p/u, you'll want this car. Feel free to contact me to inspect this car.
